Wireless Professional -  Emergency Lighting

Wireless Professional emergency lighting provides a modern, efficient approach to the installation, control, and monitoring of self-contained emergency luminaires.

Designed for both new-build and retrofit applications, Wireless Professional requires only a standard 230V AC supply, removing the need for dedicated communication cabling. Each luminaire forms part of a resilient wireless mesh network, communicating with adjacent luminaires and a central control centre.

Operating on the approved 868 MHz frequency, the system guarantees a communication range of up to 30 metres, even through walls and floor slabs, ensuring reliable performance across complex and multi-storey buildings.

With over 12,000 wireless system installations completed across Europe in the past decade, this technology is proven at scale across a wide range of building types and sectors.
In Ireland, building owners and facility managers carry a legal duty of care to ensure emergency lighting systems are installed, tested, and maintained in accordance with IS 3217.

This standard mandates regular functional and duration testing, accurate record keeping, and prompt fault rectification. Automated wireless systems significantly reduce the operational and administrative burden of compliance by carrying out tests automatically and securely storing all results for inspection.

Wireless Professional is an advanced platform that improves energy efficiency, simplifies installation, and fully automates testing and reporting. It provides comprehensive operational and performance data for every connected luminaire, enabling real time monitoring of system health. All records are stored within the LIGHTLINX® cloud and can be accessed remotely via PC, tablet, or smartphone through an intuitive graphical interface.

The system is available in two complementary ranges: the Wireless Professional Performance Series for standard applications, and the Design Series for architectural and aesthetic lighting environments. Both ranges can operate independently or together as part of a fully integrated hybrid solution, offering maximum flexibility across functional and design-led projects.

Each control centre supports up to 1,000 luminaires, with multiple centres networked to manage up to 50,000 devices, making the system suitable for projects ranging from single buildings to large multi-site campuses.
